Virginia Eviction Reduction Program (VERP) How-to-Apply Webinar | August

The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) invites prospective applicants to attend a 2027–2028 Virginia Eviction Reduction Program (VERP) How to Apply Webinar.

The webinars will provide an overview of the VERP application process, program requirements, eligible activities, and other information applicants will need to prepare a competitive application for the 2027–2028 grant. Participants will also learn about other organizations and interested partners working in their communities. Applicants are encouraged to coordinate with local stakeholders and consider opportunities for collaboration.

How to Apply Webinar Dates:

• Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the two sessions. Webinar attendance is not required to submit a VERP application.

Applications for the 2027–2028 VERP grant must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Friday, October 9 through DHCD’s Centralized Application and Management System (CAMS) to be considered.

Prospective applicants should review the 2027–2028 VERP Program Guidelines before applying.
